Soft Washing

Soft washing is the use of water-based, biodegradable chemicals to break down dirt and grime, remove bug nests and webs, kill mold, mildew, algae and bacteria – leaving the surface clean and sanitized.

Soft washing consumes only one-third of the water that pressure or power washing does, lasts 4 - 6 times longer, and does not wear down or damage the surface like pressure washing often can. Soft washing also does a lot more than power washing because it does more than just clean your roof. The products used in the SoftWash System do not simply tidy; they penetrate, sanitize, and eradicate the root of the problem.

Treating your roof with soft washing is more like bug control – the mix of safe, biodegradable chemicals make sure that the microorganisms that create buildup are not just partly swept away, but eliminated completely.

Roof Cleaning and More

Soft washing can be carried out on a multitude of surfaces where algae and bacteria grow. The same bacterium that creates black streaks on roofs can likewise grow on:

  • Concrete
  • Brick
  • Tile
  • Wood
  • Vinyl Siding
  • Aluminum
  • And more…

If you're searching for a way to get rid of what's cultivating on the surface of your roof, deck or fence, break the cycle of irritating pressure washing and use a solution that can eradicate the problem 100%.

Environmentally Friendly, Biodegradable Chemicals in SoftWash

Oftentimes, people are scared of the word "chemicals," however it's really not such a dirty word. In reality, everything is a chemical, even water (hydrogen dioxide).

The chemicals used in soft washing help break down contaminants and infestations, so they can be easily rinsed away. They do all the work without all the pressure. Our chemicals are water based, ship non-hazardous, and are biodegradable, meaning they break down into carbon and water within twenty (20) days of their introduction into the environment; leaving no contaminants behind.

4 Main Reasons to Soft Wash

There are a lot of reasons to select soft washing over pressure or power washing, however here are our biggest reasons:

  1. Substitute for pressure washing
Power washing creates erosion and strips away materials that may have been loosened up by decomposition or aging. It might be appropriate for some jobs and not others.

  2. It actually treats the infestation
Your home or business isn't only dirty – it's infected. Normal power washing merely gets rid of the outer layer of this growth and doesn't solve the root of the issue, leaving your surface susceptible again not long after power washing is finished.

  3. No damage from pressure
Poorly trained or inexperienced power washers can cause severe damage to a roof or other surfaces, particularly if it's older to begin with.

  4. More eco-friendly cleaning option
Pressure washers utilize from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute (gpm). In one hour of washing a pressure washer can use from 180 gallons upwards to 480 gallons of water. Conversely, soft washing just uses approximately 60 gallons of cleaning solution, which is made up of about 40 gallons of water.

The cleaning solution is so powerful that it lasts 4 – 6 times longer than pressure washing, making it more viable for the environment and your wallet.
